The Traveller's Grave in Greedfall is a Mission. Missions are contracts picked up from contract boards in various regions of the game. Upon completion, players will be rewarded with certain items and XP. Players can check the active and completed missions by opening the character menu and cycling through the "Journal" section.
I appeal to the better nature of travellers on the Védvílvie Road. My brother decided to explore it and never returned. If any of you were to find his body, please dig a grave for him, so that he may rest in peace. He must still have his coin purse on him. I would be happy to leave it to you as a reward.

The mission can be obtained from the contract board in the Village of Eden. The body is located in the northernmost part of the Swampy Area, slightly east of the travel icon.
