Weapon Categories in Greedfall
Melee Weapons
Melee Weapons are the most common choice for defending oneself on Teer Fradee. They can be found as loot or purchased from merchants. There are four main types of Melee Weapons (One-handed blades, Longblades, One-handed heavy weapons, and Two-handed heavy weapons) and several sub-classes with archetypes among even those! Each weapon you can craft has two upgrade slots to make your De Sardet even stronger.
Firearms
Firearms are ideal for interrupting or destabilizing an enemy, consuming one ammunition with each shot. They can be found as loot or purchased from merchants. There are two main types of Firearms (Pistols and Rifles) and several archetypes with different strengths, so plan your gear carefully for your best chances of surviving! Though they only have one upgrade slot available, a stronger firearm is still more support for your De Sardet's arsenal.
