Character Creation in Greedfall contains information regarding the game's mechanic of customizing a character. This provides a unique level of freedom to players, allowing customizing their character to their desired look and starting class.

Meters Stats

  • Health: Health status of the character, this value decreases with attacks suffered and regenerates using heals and potions. The character dies when this value reaches 0.
  • Magic: Amount of magic energy of a character. This value decreases when casting spells, and regenerates slowly over time, or quickly using magic potions.
  • Fury: This value increases in combat by inflicting damage to an enemy or successfully at least one notch, the character becomes furious and can perform a critical attack that inflicts significant damage.
  • Experience: Experience increases as the player wins fights or completes quests. When the bar is filled completely, the player gains a level. Each new level requires a little more experience than the previous one.

 

Attack Stats

In Greedfall, players will take control of De Sardet. You will be given the chance to customize what your character will look like. From choosing the gender between a man and a woman, and by selecting a variety of facial structures such as face shape, hairstyle, skin color, eye color, and more. There will also be preset available for you to choose if you prefer to quickly create your character.

After creating your character, players will dive right into selecting a starting class, each starting class will include a set of skills, and a guide for choosing a talent and ability that is recommended for the desired class. From there, you can also choose a starting attribute and talent that will benefit your starting playstyle. Of course, as the game progresses, you will level up, gain points, and have the total freedom to invest in unlocking various skills in a skill tree, attributes, and talents.

The Warrior profile focuses on melee combat. Its starting Skills include: Firearms, One Handed Blades, and One Handed Heavy Weapons.
